The Nail Yard aims to prioritise our clients’ overall experience, we aim to ensure you always feel comfortable, relaxed and safe within a friendly and hygienic setting.
We ensure we are trained to a high level and use the best products. Our aim is to be known for our exceptional service, attention to detail and high-quality treatments while supporting sustainable, environmentally sound and ethical practices.

Punctuality and Courtesy

Please note we hold a strict punctuality policy; all allocated appointments must begin and end at the scheduled time so that the next client will not be delayed, and our staff have adequate time to provide the correct level of service for you. If you fail to attend or are more than 15 minutes late, a charge may be applied. If you arrive late and your treatment has to be adapted to fit into the time available, the full charge for the booked treatment will be levied. We kindly ask that you arrive promptly for your booking.

Cancellations/Failure to Show for Appointments

Please note that we hold a strict 24-hour cancellation policy, cancellations within this period may incur a charge of the total treatment price.

If you fail to show up for a booking the full treatment price should be paid via the method you used to make the online booking or our staff may call to gain payment over the phone, failing this, you will receive an invoice which is payable within 7 days of the failed appointment.

Hygiene

Salon hygiene is of the utmost importance therefore we ask all clients to wash or sanitise their hands upon arrival.
All our work tools and work areas are cleaned and disinfected between treatments if items cannot be disinfected, we dispose of these safely. We change towels and linens between services, and they are laundered according to HSE guidelines.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.
You are not under obligation to use the full value of your voucher during one session. Late cancellation and failure to show terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers. Please present your voucher to the therapist at the beginning of your treatment.

Alterations to Prices and Services

We reserve the right to review prices, services, brands and opening hours. Where possible notice will be given.

Data Protection Policy

Personal Details taken from clients during the booking process or consultation will be stored in line with GDPR guidelines. We may occasionally send you details of special promotions or information, if you would rather not receive marketing style messages then please let us know. Medical Conditions

We ask that you disclose all medical conditions including pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments may not be suitable. You can give any relevant information on your online consultation card.

Mobile Phones

In the interest of the comfort of other clients, we ask that you refrain from talking loudly on your phone and ensure it is on silent for the duration of your treatment.

Children

In consideration of other customers please note that we are unable to allow children under 12 in the salon unless they are having a treatment.

Dogs

We are a dog friendly establishment, kindly respect other customers when your dog is in the salon.
